The second Dilmah Real High Tea Challenge UAE took place at the ICCA Dubai on 18th September, with contestants judged by Chefs Bernd Uber and Uwe Micheel (President of the Emirates Culinary Guild), together with the son of Dilmah Founder Merrill J. Fernando and Director of Dilmah, Dilhan C. Fernando. The Challenge is the toughest tea contest in the world, emphasizing respect for tea, and requiring knowledge and creativity.
The teams from Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek and Shangri La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa – Oman walked away with the highest honours of the event held at the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA) Dubai yesterday.
